Urban Foli's mission is to preserve traditional music and culture, uphold the legacy of percussion and movement, blend contemporary music with African Diasporic rhythms, and introduce these rich traditions to a wide audience, especially youth.

African Drum and the Arts at your school
We offer a unique experience for each school!
Our program is called "Muze It Outreach" our mission is to use the creative and ethical gifts of African and American music and cultural heritage as a form of artistic expression; and also to promote positive images and to help young people become better students such that they reach their full potential as leaders in their communities and beyond.
Group Music Therapy
Our senior and special needs drumming sessions are ideal for senior co-ops, senior centers, schools, and institutions that offer music therapy or occupational therapy programming. These rhythm-based experiences support cognitive stimulation, motor skills, social connection, and overall well-being in a joyful and culturally enriching environment.
